The Artistic Diver

A diver, both artistic and bold,
With origami skills to behold,
Dismissed silly notions
That deep in the oceans
It’s risky under pressure to fold.

From Quora: Origami derives from two Japanese words: ori (“folded”) and kami (“paper”). Traditional origami uses a piece of paper in the shape of a square and does not permit any cutting. The oldest known origami illustration—of paper boats floating on water—was made by Johannes di Sacrobesco in Venice in 1490. interestingly, there is a technique known as wet-folding that dampens the paper to make gentle curves rather than straight lines.
