According to Frans Jonckheere and other sources, the idea of the voluntary castratus (eunuch) in ancient Egypt may be a false history that’s at least partly due to crappy biblical and scholarly translators. Maybe they were just gay, as Faris Malik suggests. Either way, these dudes weren’t bedding chicks.
