Star Wars: Hoth Survival

“On Hoth you’ll survive,” said the scout,
“Commander Skywalker, no doubt
“You’ll get off this ball of ice,
“If you follow my advice:
“Know your tauntaun inside and out.”

Long before Leonardo DiCaprio made it fashionable to slice open a horse carcass and ride out a killer snowstorm inside the warm and comfy innards in The Revenant, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) took the same drastic measures to save his friend Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in The Empire Strikes Back. The bipedal alien mount was a creature called a tauntaun, which looked like the unholy offspring of a hungover llama and an 800-pound kangaroo.
