According to The Washington Times, Playboy magazine announced in late 2015 that it would cease publishing photos of nude women as a central part of its identity and content. The monthly’s circulation has shrunk steadily from its peak of 5.6 million in 1975 to fewer than one million readers today. Of course, online porn is to blame, for as CEO Scott Flanders puts it “[On the internet] you’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free.”
