Free market deer run amok,
In a capitalist rut, they are stuck;
The males can’t outgrow
Their quest for more doe
And the females just want a quick buck.
It’s said a male deer, or buck, got its name back in the day, when its hide sold for a dollar. Or not. I read this explanation on the wall above a duct-taped gloryhole in a truckstop east of Pittsburgh in 1989. It’s probably bullshit.
