Why racist white barbers forgo
Serving “the colored” or “the negro,”
Is ’cause crackers don’t care
About black people’s hair
Or anything thereto afropos.

According to Wikipedia, cracker is a derogatory term for a white person used predominantly, but not exclusively, in American Southern black culture. It’s origins are unknown, but evidence suggests it’s been in use since at least a decade before the U.S. civil war.
