The excrement trade’s an endeavor
That collects and moves feces wherever
There’s scat, stool or dung
In locations far-flung,
Though business has been shitty forever.
Hauling sludge, blackwater and muck
By sewage barge, railcar or truck
Is a job most pooh-pooh,
Since it’s clearly the purview
Of some poor, unfortunate schmuck.
According to William Cash, a generous estimate of the mass of feces produced by the world’s 6.8 billion people is 866 billion kilograms [954,601,595 tons] per year.
